Sermo chooses Xceptance LoadTest

Sermo, Inc.,
based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is an online community where
physicians can pose questions, share insights, and work together to
improve patient care.
They have chosen to use Xceptance LoadTest
throughout their development and testing process because of the many
advantages XLT offers in terms of flexibility and support.
As a
pure Java tool, XLT allows Sermo to leverage its existing development
environment, Eclipse. At the same time, they are not limited to a
single operating system, and can continue to use both MacOS and Linux.
XLT is also able to handle JavaScript, including during load testing.
The
simple and efficient licensing model allowed them to purchase a product
scaled to their needs, without having to give up on fast and personal
support when questions arise. Sermo engineers first worked with
Xceptance consultants before taking over the testing, and Xceptance
also built custom features based on Sermo’s requirements to better
integrate XLT into Sermo’s development environment.
As the Sermo
community continues to grow and Sermo enhances its platform with new
features, they will be able to count on XLT to expand along with them.
